First hog on new lease!

I've been seeing several hogs on my new lease but haven't been able to close the deal. A few giants have eluded me but last night I shot a medium sized boar.

Pretty good way to start off a new hunting place. If that's a medium sized hog I'd love to see what a large one would look like. Did y'all weigh him? I bet he smelled good too!

I just now saw that you shot him with your bow. Nice shot placement assuming that's the going in side. How far did he go after that shot? Sometimes I think shooting big boars like that with a bow is more rewarding than shooting deer.

He probably went 100 yards. He didn't smell bad at all. He was perfectly broadside and that is the exit wound. I guess he weighs around 150. I have seen one that was around 275 based on a previous hog that I killed and weighed. I also saw one that was so big I have no reference to guess his weight. All I know is he is way bigger than the 275 I shot last year.
