Hang some red Christmas tree ornaments around the perimeter of the tomato patch.

I wonder how this stuff works.

Protect this season’s vegetable patch with Avian Control liquid bird repellent! Just 1 treatment provides up to 2 weeks of vegetable garden bird control.

Pinwheels and bells on strings that ring in the wind.

^^^^^ My neighbor does this and I always thought it was just music she didn't like.

Bird nets, rubber snakes, make the wife stand out in the garden with her broom.

Or just use the hole that's already in them...

There is only one defense against evil worthless mockingbirds and that is death by the millions. They serve absolutely NO useful purpose whatsoever on this green earth. I been fighting them for years protecting my fruit trees.
I got one of those swivel head hoot owl decoys and by the second day they did exactly what the OP picture showed.
My best defense is a pair of Cooper's Hawks that work my neighborhood.
These hawks have learned that my fruit trees is the best place in town to ambush a free meal. Love watching these beautiful missiles knock a mockingbird out of the air. Several times a week I find a pile of feathers in the yard.
