    Back from Alaska!

The trip went way better than expected. First we flew to Spokane to spend time with my wife's aunt/uncle and grandparents. That's a really nice place. I couldn't believe how everyone used their blinkers (I mean everyone). All super nice people and the town was clean. We didn't do a whole lot here expect drive around. We did see bigfoot on the side of the road while driving. And yes I got a clear picture of bigfoot!

I will post pictures of each day of the trip soon. Going to take a while to get them all uploaded.

These were taken north of Spokane with my phone. Will get Alaska pictures soon off the real camera.

Day one.. Arrive in Anchorage. Get hotel room. Take a family selfie to start the trip

Nothing exciting as we got there really late. Taco Bell for late night snack.

Day 2 - The drive to Denali area.

Roads are WAY nicer and better than I ever imagined. Only one spot had road construction and it was less than a 5 minute delay. Not a whole lot of traffic.

My wife saw the first moose and screamed MOOSE! Made me about jump out of my seat. It was a big bull on the side of the road . No pictures as it was not a safe place to turn around.

Driving pictures are all jumbled up and I'm not sure which pictures go with each drive. I'll post scenic pictures later.

Day 3 - Denali - This will take at least 3 posts.

We woke up early to catch the bus to Kantishna. This is the furthest point in the park you can drive to which is 92 miles. You have to take a bus. Personal cars are only allowed in to the 15 mile marker.

We decided to sit in the back of the bus. Turned out great but only because it was rainy. If it had been dry that would have been a bad choice as we would have been eating lots of dust.

About 200 yards from the WAC where the bus leaves we say a mama moose with two babies. They were too close and we had on the zoom lens

About 25 miles in we came to a caribou carcass and a grizzly bear was eating on it. Right about then a wolf came in and the bear chased it off.

Then I noticed a white wolf sitting on the other side of the river. Probably just waiting for his chance at a meal.

The black wolf ended up walking up pretty close to us.

Then on we went.. Next up was some dall sheep

All photos are not cropped yet. Just raw pictures.
