    Brazos River GW

Last weekend we paddled the Brazos just below the dam. About 10am, we hear a load motor start and what sounds like an air boat coming up the river. Sure enough, two GW are ripping up the river at a high rate of speed. Personally watched their wake tump 2 canoes. Then watched them search three boats in the middle of the river, leaving all three kayaker's boats a mess. Has anyone else seen these two knuckleheads? Is this standard procedure on the Brazos? They came back Sunday too but went down river instead of up. Where can I log a complaint and not get run up the totem pole? They seriously about ran over a group of kids playing in one of the shallows where the little bit of elevation makes a wave or two on their way out. Dangerous behavior.

Was this below PK or below Whitney? You can look on the TPWD website and get that area district office. There will be a Capt and possibly a Major in that office that are their bosses that you can report the incident to.

I did and it lists 3 Wardens for that area and the sheriff. Before I paint a kill me now target on my back, I was just wondering who runs that section of river and if they have ever seen those maroons.

There are definitely good and bad ones, some of the bad ones they've gotten rid of recently and some are still employed...

Oh OK. Yeah would be different guys. We hunt near spiveys crossing quite a bit and have never even seen one. What are they doing out there in an airboat this time of year anyways?

It was father's day weekend and there were numerous boats and swimmers around every turn. I bet we saw over 20 kids under age 10 out of the river on Saturday. Something bad is going to happen if they keep ripping up and down the river like no one is there.

                          Sounds pretty dramatic.

if you really feel their actions were dangerous then do not bother to call their district supervisors. Call the head man at the state office and talk to him. Chitt flows downhill and the further it flows the harder it hits.
