Fer de lance

[Stuck]

My wife's cousin was vacationing in Zihuateneho (sp?) Mexico. The town from Shawshank redemption. While in her room she was bitten by a fer de lance. They were able to kill the snake by making it into 3 snakes. She was bitten on Sunday and released from the hospital today to come back to the states for continued treatments. From the pictures I've seen it is mostly swelling and has not blistered at all, I may not have seen more recent pics. She seems to be taking it well and is most thankful it was her that was bit and not one of her 2 young children that were with her in the room. Told my wife, we will not be vacationing there.
