Is the rut in Mason still going on? Have not been in a couple of weeks.

barely....should pick up again pretty soon. im goin this weekend for one last trip and im huntin for one fat doe, and a buck to burn my last two tags...hopefully the second rut will come and ill kill a buck chasin a doe, and teh doe will stand there

If you shoot the hot doe first-he may stand ther-if not something bigger may come in to her!! Seen it happen before!

We really never saw a good rut this year. Hopefully there will be some good second rut action. what we did see took place bout a week before thanksgiving but there was very little action.

i noticed the same thing on our lease as far as young bucks chasn does,never really saw any older bucks chasn. We are goin Sun-Thurs the full moon will hurt us but I WILL be huntn during 12-3pm as well as am pm..good luck to everyone!!
