We have an almost year old pup that maybe Lab & terrier mix that came from a litter the neighborhood tramp dropped.
So far one of the best dogs we've had-
EXCEPT for the fact that she has figured out how to jump the fence.
She was accidentally shown how to jump a fence from some neighbor boys retrieving a ball and now climbs over our 6' wood "privacy" fence anytime she is bored and alone.
If we are home- not a problem because she is always near us, once we gone- she gone. So far we have resorted to locking her inside when we leave.
Growing up this was handled with a rope and a tree or a rope and a concrete block. We are not going that route.
So aside from keeping her inside when gone, how do I teach her this is not OK?
Here are a few pics to get a size reference-

That's a size 11.5-12 foot [emoji51]
