Thought I'd give an update on the capture...
I had my first camera set up in a relatively low traffic area, so it took some time to run through the first set of batteries.
all in all, the first set of 4 batteries lasted quite a while.
I set the camera up around september 15, and the batteries were dead on november 30 (last photo)
I may nto have all the photos, but it took around 2300 photos, with at least 50% of them being night photos.
I had three blackouts at night... which I'm assuming hte flash failed to go off for some reason or another.
As far as the trigger speed, there is absolutely no comparison on it between the moultrie I40 I had, or the D40.....can't speak for anything else.
