Gable vent?
06-15-2017, 07:49 AM
The gable vent on my house fell off!
The paint on it looked OK, but the wood was rotten. I've never done this before. Has anyone on here replaced one before? Don't have the funds to pay someone, so going to give it a go myself.

should be fairly simple. Just measure the one that came out and buy one the same size and pop it in place. Should only need to nail or screw it in.

Yeah, I'm going to climb up and measure it. It will also give me an idea on how it is installed.
