Looking to book a Alaskan moose hunt for 2018.. anyone ever done this? Wanting to do a float hunt 1 on 1 with 1 non hunter..

I was on a moose hunt in Alaska back in 2012, my buddy got one, I only seen two, one was too small and the other did not give me a shot, the outfitter told us that the grizzly bears have really hurt the moose population, I think they had raised the limit to like 4 bears a year in some areas, I am not talking about the coastal brown bears. I would look into Yukon Moose, i think there are more and that is where the largest moose come from, I went there back in 2010, did not get a moose but I did have 3 opportunities, just had some really bad luck, to me the country was much better than Alaska, we were hunting along the Bonnett plume river, it was awesome, the outfitter was Chris Widrig, can't remember the outfit name but I am sure you could google his name, Jim Shockey and McMillan Outfitters are in the same area, I think they charge a little more, I hope i get o go one more time before i get too old, 57 now.Originally posted by randal View PostComment
