Which is better, Block 4x4 or regular Block

4 x 4 is better IMO. The outer foam layer prevents all the layering from coming out as easy.

The 20 dollar bag target at Academy is the best by far for field tips and you already have the best for BH's.

x2 I am working on two years of heavy shooting on mine......When certain areas get a little worn step on the bags to readjust the material inside.....or just paint the dots white making the whole side white and then make your own dots with black spray paint in the better areas

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I have a specific use for each of the targets I have. The 18-1 goes in the truck hunting for a warm up shot before going to the stand and I also use in the stand for a little FP practice sometimes. At first the 18-1 is a little tough to pull arrows from but once you shoot it a few times it loosens up but is still is solid as a rock.

I use the Block target at home.

I am thinking now of getting the $20 Academy bag target to leave at the cabin at the lease. Thanks for that tip....

Thanks for all the feedback. Any others that have the 4x4, do Field Points pull out fairly easily or at least reasonably, I use a rubber grabber so that usually takes care of any really tough ones.

Yours last so long because you don't hit it...now the sheet rock in your garage is another thing
