Is that the same as six in one hand and a half dozen in the other?

Sorta. Some people like it in top while others like it on bottom. [emoji1303]

I used to eat lunch at a resturant right beside a boat ramp. I always got a window seat to watch the idiots launching. My favorites were the guy who made his wife back the boat in when she had never ever even backed a truck before. Screaming and yelling at you wife dosen't make for a good day on the water....

I don't even take my boat out of the boathouse on weekends. Too many metroplex morons out here on Saturday and Sunday.

My wife jackknifed mine and bent truck bumper I backed boat in, launched it, tied it up went back pulled truck out and got her on the road (same road as house) and told her to park on road in front of house. Literally drive straight a quarter mile then put it in park no turns. She passed house and Jackknifed it I don't know how many times and hit both sides of bumper. Luckily someone was outside and turned it around. She was very upset.
We've practiced many times in the pasture behind the house now but she still gets nervous hooked to a trailer bit can take it home but won't back it in. She doesn't drive past the house anymore though. Some people just have a hard time with it but she's getting better. I can't get mad at her over it it's not her fault those dents we're my fault for not teaching her I just never thought she would have to turn around

My wife helps by standing on the courtesy dock and looking good while I back in, back out, launch and recover the boat.

Our system works well for us!

Hard to beat a good Sunday afternoon Ramp-o-rama and a 12 pak for cheap entertainment.
