    Tree Identification ...x2

These two are on my back fence line and are the only two trees on my place that I'm not positive what they are. We've got red oak, pin oak, pecan, maple, magnolia, and pine which I can idenyify easy. These have me stumped.

The first one (first 2 pics) has web wotms like I get in my pecans. It has a huge leaf. Possibly a cottonwood of some type?

The second one reminds me of a beech tree but the leaf isn't quite right.

    Any experts?

First one might be a Catalpa tree. Second looks like a hophornbeam family although the tree is usually not smooth. Maybe a hackberry but again the trunk is usually not smooth.
What does the trunk of the first one look like? Could be a type of Mulberry.

The one with the webworms looks like a redbud, and they are especially attractive to webworms. Can't say on #2

First is looks like a redbud and the second is a American beech, bark is the giveaway.... sugarberries are very rough.

There is some serration to the first one. I think they are right about mulberry. Still voting Hackberry on the second.

Yep I think yall are right for sure on the mulberry tree. The bark on the other is extremely smooth though and looks just like an american beech by looking at the bark. The leaves aren't quite right for a beech though. The hackberry has a very rough bark and the pics I pulled up onlne look nothing like the bark on this tree

If the first is mulberry, the leaves will have a lot of variation and most will be tri lobed.

mulberry was my first guess... but I didn't see any variation.
