Periodically, I will use a drive through car wash. I don't like to. I prefer to wash it myself. But sometimes, I'm just not in the mood. Like when my back is hurting. So I'll roll through one of the two local car washes. Now it's down to one.
Drove through the "Pirates Cove" car wash on Culebra in San Antonio the other day. I paid for my wash, and kept some cash out. I usually hand a few bucks to the guy or gal with the scrub-brush, as I ask them if they can ensure my back window gets hit. The auto-washes never seem to get the back window of a truck.
So I roll down my window and ask, "Hey man... would you mind scrubbing my back window really well?"
His response?
"I'm not obligated to do that". Then he put the brush down and motioned me into the wash.
So I put my cash back in my wallet and drove through... Not returning either.
Really? "I'm not OBLIGATED to do that".
Kind of an odd choice of words for a lazy dude.
OK. I feel better now. Got that off my chest.
All the best,
Glenn
