Joe Pool Fish Kill??

was going to try and go out there tomorrow morning. Fishing forum had a post about a possible fish kill. Do any of yall on here know anything about this?? Figured I would give it a shot on here since I like yall better!

I heard on the local news there was a heavy runoff from the rain that carried fertilizer into the lake and caused it.

Benbrook too. TPWD looking into it.
Most likely algae bloom depleting the oxygen.
Sometimes the big fish chase the shad completely up on the bank where they die. When shad are thick spawning shallow a high wind can knock them up onto the bank.

I heard the benbrook dies of was a bunch of fresh stocked fish not able to make the adjustment...no idea if that was confirmed by tpwd

I believe it was channel 8 WFAA in DFW.

I think it was just way up Walnut Creek. Main lake is fine. At least from what I have seen and I'm out quite a bit, but do stay in the main lake.
