Yessir, it was wide enough for a truck when I went too. Basically an excuse to ride all day and act silly. Had some fun around the campfire at night. I took the Bronco, my buddies took their Jeeps.

The chainsaw is for trees that fall in the trail. I got tired of winching them.

We usually "home base" in Ouray, however we like Creed also. The only bad thing, and I mean only bad thing about Ouray, is that you can't ride you're atv/utv in town. Most of the trail heads are just a few miles. One of our favorite rides is from Ouray then a stop at Engineer Pass and then to Silverton for lunch. Ouray to Telluride via Immogene Pass is another awesome ride. I've seen some monster mule deer in Yankee Boy basin!!

Revisiting this post. Any new advice for trails there in broken bow? My son wants to ride when we’re up on family get together.

My friends and I used to make several trips per year to Broken Bow. Stop at a gas station and buy a land use permit. We would then pack up the ATVs and ride till sun set, setup camp for the night, get up the next morning and do it again. A couple of times we setup a main camp right off the river. Just be warned that critters will come visit you in the middle of the night! It is primitive camping so you have to pack everything you need, and pack it all out when you leave.

It has been almost 20 years since I was out there last so things may have changed.
