Best peep sight for short bows...

What are some good peep sights that are especially suited for the short axle to axle bows? A friend has one of the 30" bows and when at full draw he can't see thru the peep due to the sharp string angle...Thanks for any assist in this matter.

I may need to get a Tru-Ball speed nock. I have an alignment problem, ever oncet in awhile.

    Montec makes a similar peep.

I have a 31" axel, but it is not the parallel limbs like on today's new bows. I use a Tru Peep.

What difference does it make Donnie? You can't shoot anyhow!
If you can't find something that will work, I bet I can make you one. Just let me know.

Also if you like peeps with alignment tubing there is one available from RAD called the Maxim 38 that is made for shorter bows. You can get it at Bass Pro or Cabelas.

go with the no peep.....better in low light, teaches good form and your never have to worry about string alignment....

If you want to maximize your shooting with a compound, listen to what Dugie said. I had one on my little Blackhawk. I got tired of shooting arrows with mine, so thats why I shoot them recurves and longbows. Made shooting a compound way to easy! If you use it like it is suppose to use it, you will hold the same way everytime. So you really have no excuses when you miss, ha,ha.

Wow, thanks guys for the input. I too use the true peep on all my bows but like "Golden Eagle" says, I cain't shoot anyhow....grins....I was thinking of drilling out an extra tru peep for him to try but he might like the "no peep" setup as well. Hey Goldie, are you on the day shift yet??? Too much longer on the night shift and you will become a vampire!!!! LOL

                          Thanks again for the help!

                            Peep

Donnie. I like the 2x2 peep. Its like a Shurz a Peep except the string is divided into 2 bundles instead of 3. It has worked for me on everthing from my old HCA bows to a Diamond Machete (32" a/a) to my Hoyt Vtec. Give me a call sometime. You know I know everthing....and I got plenty of time to tell you about it.
