    Mini golden doodle-retrievers?

Anyone ever hunted behind a mini golden doodle?

A mini golden doodle? Is that a cross of miniature poodle and golden retriever? I have a 1 year old golden doodle that I had all intentions of training, but didn't have the time. She is very smart and I think she could've been a great hunting dog.

She ought to be a really great water dog. Both breeds are good, the combo should be great.

Looks like she is already trained to guard your spot.
        Couch tater for sure.

I have a full size black golden doodle. Looks like yours in the pic. He about spends his day like that as well. Got him from a rescue at 11 months old or so. I sent him to 6 weeks of retriever camp but his report card was fun loving, goofy but smart and cuddly. He is lazy and 95 lbs. my kids are enamored with him and everybody else adores him. However, a hunting dog he is not. I love him though.
Now my 45lb black standard poodle is the birdiest and high energy dog with a high prey drive. He will dive into a pond chasing fishing lures. He has potential.

I would say if you already have the dog give it a try. If you don't I wouldn't suggest getting one as it promotes the breeding of designer dogs with no history on them, I would suggest getting a dog bred to fit your needs.

We got a mini golden doodle for my daughter last year. He's 1 now and is a very smart little dog. Lots of energy, loves to play fetch, but can be a pain at times because he's so smart lol. As of lately, he's learned to open the doors in the house to get what he wants.
