    New fish finder

Trying out my new fish finder yesterday evening. Didn't find any fish. Gonna have to tweak on it some.

First off, your beer holder should be extended so you don't have to reach as far to get it. Second, you have your fish finder set way too far back on the deck. There is a hinge under that pink dust cover that will allow the unit to flex downward so the sensor is actually in the water. You need to remount it so the hinge is at the gunnel.

For that particular model I don't recommend leaving it in the water while running across the lake. You will get some serious wear and tear at high speed, so you'll want to pull it up out of the water before moving to another spot.

Might have to remount it in a different position.
