Stock Picking Services

Anyone use any stock picking services? I have been using investors business daily. They've got a leader board setup with a list of suggested stocks to buy. Overall been pretty happy with them, most have made money some have tanked though. But nothing is 100%. I've also done pretty good researching on my own.

What do yall stock guys use? Any other recommendation? Pros/cons

On a side note, any opinions on REITs? I've started investing in some, particularly the ones that are composed of senior/assisted living facilities. I like the high % dividends they shell out and think there is some upside to them with a larger % of the population getting older.

I recently bought into the ticker Mort reit. Will see how it does but as interest rates rise I'll be getting out. I prefer to deal with etf's mostly, some sector specific, others more diversified. But i do and will still hold some individual stock from the big names like apple, etc. Never tried watching something like IBD, mostly i don't want to pay their price. I'd much rather do my own research but do depend on publications and shows to hear of new companies to look at.

stay away from the pump and dump schemes, unless you are extremely disciplined, seasoned and willing to lose it all happily
