School teacher in the Lubbock ISD. I teach or should I say monitor 9 kids in elementary. 1 1st grader, 2 2nd graders, 3 3rd graders, 2 4th graders and a 5th grader. I am a SEBSS Special Ed teacher. Social, Emotional, Behavioral Support Services teacher. Do not actually teach except for social skills and work and hopefully show my kids how to cope with their meltdowns, fits or anger. Never the same, never a dull day, but very rewarding even though I can get bloodied or beat up daily. These are normal kids until they have the meltdowns then I am there hopefully to help and teach coping skills. I still enjoy getting up and going to work.
