    Lakeside RV camping suggestions

Looking for a nice RV Park on a lake where I could run my wakeboard boat, do some camping. I am in San Antonio so something no more than 3 or 4 hours from here. What ya got?

You have to make reservations ahead but Coleto creek between Goliad and Victoria is really nice. We camp there 4 to 6 times per year. Also Lake Texana close to Edna, just don't fall in the water. Gators! No they shouldn't bother you.

It is very nice. They have a nice little swimming pooland Jacuzzi, Laundry Mat, nice little store with ICE and little basic camping stuff, Big Covered Pavilion, Disc Golf, right on the lake with boat ramp. Its also minutes away from Burnet Inks lake State Park, and Canyon of the Eagles. Also Reverend Jims by the Bridge has awesome Burgers and a great place to grab lunch. Alan Warren and his wife own it and have done some amazing things.

Inks Lake State Park is a great place to go. But I am gonna have to look into Big Chief RV Resort on Buchanan myself.

Promontory park on lake Proctor. My favorite place to camp. Reservations needed. Sandy beach to pull your boat up to.

Not yet. Kent is headed up tomorrow. I'm staying home this weekend. Ask me about Wednesday how they did. Lots of boat traffic this weekend so fishing may be tough. Small lake and lots of camping spots.
