    Samuari Restoration Thread

So Sunday I bought a 86 Samurai from a fellow green screener. Took it home and stripped it. Ordered a new 2 piece hard top, new tailgate, New front and rear bumpers, door panels complete interior and seats.
Repaired the rusted out floor pan , then yesterday I dropped it off at the body shop to have all dents repaired and repainted.
10 days in the body shop then on to the mechanic for full tune up and new tires and wheels. Building to pull behind motorhome for some upcoming trips after I retire. Will post as it is completed.

Awesome! I've been rebuilding one too. I'm almost finished with it, so I might post it when I'm done. I wished I would have taken more pictures though...

I don't know why I was hoping so much that this would be about a sword...oh well.

They make a great lease git around. My Geo Tracker 4x4 is the best lease vehicle I ever had. A/C and heat and no getting froze near to death getting out to the stand. These things will go anywhere the front tires can get a bite.

Post up you pictures of the ones you have done, I'm open to all suggestions, I am shooting for close to factory except maybe bigger tires.

So the new parts arrived today about 60% the rest will get here Friday and the paint guy said Friday it will be ready. So hopefully this weekend I will be putting it all together.
