What is the best herbicide for poison oak but that hopefully won't kill all the brush around it?

You need brush killer. I get a small spray bottle and put it on undiluted. If you have to get a small paint brush and paint it on so as not to kill other plants around it. It works well

There is some areas so thick I would just have to kill everything. Some areas are in the open and some are under bigger tree canopies. I have used some "brush killer" before but usually have to spray it a couple times. This place has so much and such a big area I don't want to have to do it twice.

Good Luck.
