    Flowmaster

Anybody have any idea what it cost to get these put on a truck. Sorry for all the random christmas posts, but tbh is my main source of info.

what kind of truck do you have? is your truck a true dual exhaust or does it only have one pipe going back? If it is not a true dual, I got mine put on for $150. If it a true dual, you have to buy 2 exhausts, so double that cost. A buddy of mine got cherry bombs for $133.

if you have true duals and dont want to pay $300 bucks you might look into glass packs, too. they make different lengths and are ALOT cheaper. the longer the glass packs the quieter it is. My best friend has a 98 z71 and couldnt afford flowmasters, so he paid 120 for the longest glass packs and his truck sounds almost identical to my brothers 97z71 with true dual flowmasters.

Is it cheaper if they dump them instead of run em out and tip them?

yeah that was with installation. its pretty simple for them to do. they cut the old one, replace it. weld it. 30 minutes tops.

yes it is. for me it was about $75 cheaper. dumps are going to be louder in the cab of the truck because of the echo underneath, but from a distance you really can't tell the difference between dumps and pipes out the back. i think its better to dump it and save your money personally but some people like the look of pipes. they can always add pipes out the back later if they want them too.
