    Fury Beaver!

I got some beaver on Mother's Day. Trapped him with a snare that was set yesterday and finished him off with my Winchester 94-22. About to start skinning him!

I did a full body mount on mine. They are beautiful creatures. One thing I will never forget is that oily smell they have. It was my first (and only) encounter with one to date. Since then I have been in area's where I know there are beavers and I can smell them. Did your have that oily smell?

Yes, i hate to feel the wrath of the beaver with fury. Think the furry beaver went out of style 20 or 30 years ago.

Any recommendations for a taxi in the Conroe area to tan the hide?

Frank Tudor. Tudor Taxidermy in Conroe. He can take care of it or tell you were he sends his.

There are few things nicer to look at than a properly tanned beaver.
