I have one and it has helped save a trip to the chiropractor from time to time. I haven't had to use it in a while, but it does help relieve pinched nerves. The relief is not necessarily immediate though.

Save some money and watch the classifieds for used ones.

Teeter table is working for me, my wife, and FIL. Between the 3 of us we have 3 artificial knees and more back problems than I can list. Using the inversion table weekly has been very helpful. Went the pain pill and chiro route but the table gives consistent relief at MUCH LOWER COST!

      Follow Burnadell's advise

Got my injection last Tue. 5/16/17.Has not helped. Left leg is still numb and can't walk more than a few min at a time. It's been 3 weeks of pain, gone thru about 80 pain pills so far. They want me to have more shots on the 5/30/17, but I'm ready to have the surgery and get it done.

I had an injection Saturday the 13th at 8am. By Saturday evening all my symptoms were returning already. I had them before each of my 2 other back surgeries and they never helped. I am scheduled June 7th for a lumbar fusion because nothing else has worked and I do not want to be on pain management long term which was my other option.

Don't want to be on a pain management, Do a lot of driving for work, and have a work truck. Just want work. Going tomorrow to push the surgery. I Just can't lay in bed for a week or so in pain waiting on the Dr's. to make up their mind.

I have some kind of back problem but don't know what it is, yet. I have had 3 different doctors all tell me that I have a bad back problem that is causing atrophy and nerve problems in my left leg. I had an MRI last week, have a nerve test in 2 weeks, and I find out the results of both in 3 weeks. I'm hoping it's nothing major, but my chiropractor has not helped in the last 2 months.

A herniated disc with 2 bulging discs above and below the problem disc. Bought an inversion table and never really noticed any help and when I got on it one day and the pain was so bad when I got "inverted" I thought I would never get off and would die. I virtually could not move and the pain was almost unbearable. Sold it shortly after and will never get another one.

Proper exercise and watching your weight will do more than an inversion table. At least that worked for me.

I have a inversion table that gave me temp relief after use before I had surgery. I had a piece of disk that broke off and was sticking in the nerve so not much helped other than surgery. You are welcome to it if you can get express down 35 from Waco.

Yep. I think that is how I got to where I'm at now. I had knee surgery, and had to wear a brace on my left leg for over a month. Right about the time the brace came off permanently, these back issues popped up. Doctor thinks that my compensating for the left leg being almost inop is what caused the hips to shift, and everything else followed.

Fellow back pain sufferer here. My doctor, as well as my physical therapist have advised me against the inversion table due to my hypertension. Unfortunately, my back problems aren't "bad enough" yet for surgical intervention. At this point, I cannot walk more than about 30 yards without having to stop and rest due to back pain. If massage seems to help, you might want to look into Rolfing. Rolfing is good, but can be pricey. Also, ask your doctor about a drug called Tizanidine. It's a muscle relaxant, and all muscle relxants are mild tranquilizers. So, you can really only use them at night, but without Tizanidine, I can't get more than about an hour or so of sleep at night.

                        Good luck,

                        Dave
Dang. I have hypertension. Wonder if he's going to tell me no? Well... I'll find out this afternoon. I'm finally sleeping almost completely through the night, but the pain meds I'm on (Percocet) dry me out at night. I wake up at about 3am every day, and it feels like my entire mouth and throat are completely drained of all fluid. I'm almost gasping when I get up, and have to go get a drink immediately. I'll go back to sleep for a few more hours and wake up like that again. I want to get off of these pain meds. I think they may be making my sleep apnea worse too.

                        All the best,
                        Glenn

Thank you for that very kind offer. I am interested, but was wondering if you know what the weight limit is on it? I'm pushing the limit of the ones that are rated at 250 lbs.

                                Glenn:

Lots of doctors are shying away from the opioid drugs, of which, Percocet is in that family. Ask your doctor about the Tizanidine I mentioned earlier (#15). It may be better for you than the Percocet, or you could take the Tizanidine routinely and save the Percocet for when you really need them.

                                Good luck,

                                Dave
