    We have a lot of them around our house in Lakeway. See them almost every night this time of year and into the summer.

        Insects such a fireflies are far away from extinction, maybe you've just missed the place and time whenever you hunt for them...

        or they are hiding from you...

              They are all over in Georgetown, sitting out watching a doe and her newborn fawn tonight and lightning bugs are all around.
