I love mine. So easy to stay on a brush pile and work it. Or use the track feature and fish the same stretch where you caught fish. That works well for a shoreline or a drift over a flat. I would never have a trolling motor without it.

Thanks for all the info. I am looking at the I-pilot link 24v with a 54" shaft. Anybody know where the cheapest place to buy one is? Everywhere I see is around 2K and up.

What lb thrust are you wanting and what model? I believe I pilot is available on the terrova, ultrex, ulterra and power drive.

Big price range there but $2k is average assuming youre looking at a BNIB Terrova w/ ipilot 80lb 24v 54" shaft.

I got all my motors from Shut up and Fish electronics, hes based out of North Texas and generally has the best prices. Other thing would be to check out TexasFishingForum classifieds, lots of guys upgrading to an Ultrex that are getting rid of their ulterra or terrova for stupid cheap

A guy on the Gander mnt. Closing thread said he just bought a 55lb I pilot for $600. I'd be all over that if I was in the market.
