    Let's talk COWBOY boots

I am in the market for some new full quills, and my old pair are Tony Lama's. I love them, and have had them for over 6 years now with 3 or 4 new pairs of soles. They have been great, but it's time for a new pair. As I understand it, Justin is now making Tony Lama's, and I dont think very highly of Justin boots, so where do I go for a nice pair of boots at a reasonable price? $500 or less. Is Lucchesse the only "big box store" boots that are any good? Thanks in advance.

Lucheese's are hard to beat. I have a pair in full quills and love'em. Some people like Rod Patrick's but I personally think they are ugly and to pricey. Justin IMO have become cheaply made.

Is Boot Barn in Deer Park still open? That used to be the only place I went for boots, belts, Carhart jackets. They always had the best prices on boots. Scenery wasnt too bad there either! Havent been over there in years. What about Ed Kanes Western Wear on Hwy 59? Just south of the Beltway East on the north bound side?

I wear Ariats everyday and they are more comfortable than my tennis shoes.

Beck boots in Amarillo... They take a mold of your foot and custom make them to your specs.... only boots I every had that made it more then two years at the sell barn... Infact after 5 years still going strong.

If you cant afford to have a pair made at somewhere like Leddys or Mercers. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of Lucchese's.
