Digging a pond?

We've had 2 built over the last 5 years. One 7 acres right at 100k and one 9 acres about 120k. One was built on a creek and TCEQ freaked out because we dammed up a creek, it took a long time to get hashed out. The other was built and has a lot of runnoff. I recommend going deep enough so you hit clay or plan on putting a liner in. Also save and pile up top soil and spread on dam once finished

If its high all year round, you may get away with a natural water table pond. This will have to all be excavated out vs using a dozer
