    My Son's 7.3

Wanted to share as I know we have some love here for the 7.3s.

I forget how clean this truck is. We traded trucks today I sure enjoy driving it

All original! 145k miles and ridiculously clean. I actually bought it from another TBHr.

He and his mom think it might be to big and just not practical for college campus in 2 years.

I like it's not fast by accident and if he is in a wreck there is a lot of steel around him.

Just give me enough time to get there with a trailer and cash OK.

How old is your son? You should be incredibly proud of how well he takes care of that truck. Assuming it's always that clean and you didn't clean it up for the pics lol.

Hey is 16 and has owned / driven it for a year now. Yes it's always that clean. He takes care of his stuff thankfully.

In church 2x week, A B honor roll, and never given us one problem. He has toured several schools and Tech is up there on list followed by SMU. Please help me by prayers for Tech.

I can't tell you how proud I am. I have prayed for him every singe day since I knew he was created.

He also knocks down 25 hours week at Bahamas Bucks.

I miss him though. We used to be side by side on a boat or in woods. These days it's teenage stuff and a Girl. But I get it and can't wait to see what he does on life. He killed his first deer with a bow at 10 yo and caught several trophy fish.

When he was a baby we had 2002 7.2 and man he could sleep in that thing. We would drive across country and I guess the vibration of the motor just rocked him to sleep. Some nights I would idle slow around town to get him to sleep when he had ear infections.

He always wanted and we looked for a couple years for the right one.

              I also have a 99 f350 with 119k on it.

You're a lucky man. I have always cared for my vehicles like that as well, but I had many friends when I was younger (and I still do actually) that treat their vehicles like a dumpster.

Thread title really should of just been 'My 16 year old son' as he sounds way more impressive than the truck. I think we all hope for ours to turn out like yours. Congrats on raising a good one!

I drive an '01 7.3 F250. My niece is 15 months now, but lived with us for 9 months. My truck was her absolute favorite place to sleep. As soon as we'd roll, she was done.

When my sons were little they'd crash easily in my 2001 7.3.
When they were awake they'd mimic the whistling sound of the turbo.
Still love my 7.3 and never plan on parting with it.

That was my dads truck. He sure loved that thing, and talked smack to me about it all the time. Glad to see it still looks good

That there is the only truck, you could drive around the world 20 times without breaking down.

Hahaha now you sound like my dad. I've always owned Chevys and I have an 07.5 Duramax. He was forever talking crap. "that can't be a diesel. you can't even hear it"

I put 425,000 on a 2002 7.3 and it never broke down on me. I gave it to one of the farm hands 2 years ago and it's still running strong and its beat all to helllll!
