    Tree ID

I live just north of Lake Ray Roberts.
Wondering if y'all know what kind of tree this is?

I don't think is muscadine or wild plum. I've got a bunch of wild plum behind the house.

I have no stinkin idea, and that helps none. Sorry. Interesting if anyone else has a throw. Lots of Varieties out there that I don't know, but it's beyond the usual..

Thought wild cherry and wild plum set fruit about the same time?? Our wild plums have not even got close yet.

Ya I have no idea either. The fruit will ripen to a dark red almost purple. I've ruled out persimmon, muscadine, and wild plum or at least the kind I have on the place.
I was leaning towards Mexican plum but I really don't know.

That's a plain old Hackberry (member of the elm family)...

Hmmm...that doesn't look like hackberry bark.

Not a hackberry. There are many species of plums. Could be one of them.
I have a plum in my yard that has the same leaves and fruit that are green and will later turn red.
On second thought the fruit stems are too long for most plums so it might be a cherry of some sort.
