Wife is after me to go see Chris Stapleton for her birthday in October. Who has been to Bossier City La? It is only a 3 hour drive for us, but i am wondering about the area. Is it a trashy town, or would we feel safe there? I see a Diamond Jacks Casino near the concert venue, but looks kinda trashy. Who has advice?

Its not trashy. Its like any other place it has some sketchy places along with really nice places. You can go to margaritaville, bass pro, hit the riverwalk do some shopping there. We always stay at the Hilton in Shreveport and they shuttle us around 24/7. Sams and El dorado are the big casinos there.Comment

stay on the main roads and there is nothing to fear. Casino areas are always busy with lots of people.Comment
