TXDOT looking for summer hire.

We are looking for a young man or woman for a summer hire at TXDOT Seguin maintance if anybody is interested please let me know and also call the office @ 830-303-0130.

The person must have already graduated high school and also must either be enrolled in college or have a college acceptance letter.

The work is pretty easy will mostly consist of being a helper to one of our sign crews, but other duties will be assigned as need be. Starting pay is usually pretty good but I don't have a exact number. Thanks

This is good gig for a high school graduate that doesn't know what they want to do or is interested in roadway construction.

A lot of these summer jobs could turn into full time positions. Right now several areas in Txdot are looking for summer help.

I did this for 4 years. It is an absolute great opportunity for someone! A lot of other counties will probably be looking to hire as well.

Even if they don't decide to stay with txdot the experience will open up a lot of opportunities in the private sector. With txdot contracting out all aspects of our daily operations a college student could gain some great knowledge during the summer to jump start their career.

Worked two summers in college for txdot. I was a part of the highway maintenance crew. It is a great job for a college kid. Not only do you make good money for a summer gig but it's a 7:30-430 job which keeps u out of trouble. Lol.
