    Chase Vs. Bank of America

So the wife and I are going to get a joint account. I have Bank of America and she has chase, we are 98% sure about going with chase.

I would like to hear what everyones thoughts are on the two. Bank of America I feel like has really gone down hill when it comes to customer service. Every time something comes up with them it seems to always be a fight with them. Also they have stopped giving out personal checks, which Chase still does.

Put all their features side by side on paper... compare them... and then pick anyone else.

We have thought about going with a local bank we just like some of the features that a big bank is able to offer compared to a small one.

I would be 198% sure to go with Chase. B of A closing banks everywhere. The one here in Mineral Wells closing in a couple of months. Will be moving company accounts to Chase.

I used to love them up until about 2012 then everything started down hill.

We've had Bank of America for several years. Not a fan. Looking to make a change soon.

I hate both of them. Just use a local credit union.

Been with Chase since the Texas Commerce Bank days. Good service from the branches I work with and online is user friendly and always updating with improvements. Have had a few fraiud issues as well as disputes over the years. I always got my money or at least credits back in a few hours.

Was with BOA for 25 years and just switched to RFBCU. I was tired of the " big bank" attitudes and extra fees they stick to you. Our mortgage is through Chase and like em so far

I had Wells Fargo for 10 years. Switched to Chase. I 100% without a doubt regret that decision. Chase is by far the most incompetent bank I have ever had to deal with.

Avoid Chase at all costs. Wells Fargo treated me like they couldn't lose my business, Chase treats my wife and I like scum.

Let me know if you want a list of reasons.

We don't have any experience with BOA but have tried several other large banks over the last 15 years. We have used Chase for the last 3 or 4 years and are extremely pleased. Your experience will probably depend a lot on the individual branch.

My wife uses BOA for reasons I'll never understand. Among other things, her local branch decided to quit using the drive thru so now all patrons have to park and walk inside and stand in one big line (imagine that scenario on a Friday afternoon). There are several other problems she has encountered with BOA but she stays with them. From what I've seen I'll pass on BOA.

Chase is fine for personal accounts/credit cards, but an absolute joke for business accounts.
