24 Hour Hog Contest

Well a few months ago I entered me and some buddies into this 24 hour hog contest. We new it would be a challenge but there were 3 categories, biggest teeth, biggest hog and 3 hog stringer. We started Saturday at daylight and had to be weighed in Sunday. We kicked up a group right off the back and got one and then it was slim pickings from there on. I'm not sure if the cold front and wind effected them but it was tough hunting!! Sunday morning at 3:30 we found our money hog, I had the thermal and got a big tree between us and the pig and walked straight to him and had a 40 yard shot. I have hunted and killed several hogs but I've never seen teeth like this one had, he weighed 231 and won us the teeth category of the hunt!!
My cousin was the one who pulled the trigger on the beast but it was a total group project!!

yeah we won $1,850 for him, he had 3 inch cutter on one side and 2.5 on the other. They were razor sharp!

No sir, that was my first worry. They had to be a boar or sow, if he was cut i couldnt had turned him in. So right when we got up to him that was our first concern once we saw his teeth. We knew he didnt weigh enough to win but we thought his teeth might and he did. The biggest pig turned in was 323lbs.
