Well finally now I know my new Bowtech 101st can kill something.
After several days on stand I finally gave into the dark side and killed a management 6 point. I aged him at 3.5 YO small six…
He came out with a 4pt ~2.5YO and a spike and nubb’n .6 to 1.5 YO’s after watching for 5 ~ 10 minutes I talked myself to pulling back on him, since he was fight’n the 4 pointer every time he got close to his corn. He didn’t move after the draw, so THWACK!!! And 40 or so yrds away CRASH!!!
1st Buck with a Bow and 1st Kill for the new 101st
The only thing that sux, is when he Crashed he broke his antler off 2 new feelings to experience…THWACK and CRASH…now I know what your talk’n about !!!
My oldest Tim shot his first Turkey this weekend. ~ 40 yrds with a 30.06, and surprisingly did not fubar the bird…the breast and legs were intact. Kinda cleaned it like a dove, just pulled the whole breast back…I laughed and told him he didn’t know how lucky he was…
