    Best/longest lasting smaller SUV tire

Wife has a '16 Ford Explorer with 255/50R20 tires. Came with hankooks (not sure of exact model) but not real impressed with the tread wear. Around 35K and already pretty much worn out.

Looking for something different. Probably 90-95% highway driving but live down about a mile of gravel road. Wanting the best ride/tread wear/and toughness for the little bit of gravel road she will be driving on.

Used to hear and have good luck with Michellen, wondering if they are still as good as they used to be?

I run Michelin on my truck. They have been very good tires. The tread pattern doesn't look cool but they last and last. But this is coming from a guy who drives and unlevel truck so take it for what it's worth.

        Michelin

Wifes expedition came with hankook and they were bald at 17,000 miles. Like 1/32 bald on all four corners.

Yokohama or Michelin. Check discount's rebates before you buy. Should be something coming up for Memorial Day.

Had Michelins on my truck it and the tires handled well the boss was ready to trade off that truck so he put on Hankooks , talk about misery the truck handled like it wasn't connected to the road didn't drive it long but made my mind up on Hankooks ,will not ever put them on My pov

I just switched from Michelin M/S(factory tire) to Hancook M/S and have been very pleased with the traction improvement. I actually expect them to wear out a little sooner than the Michelin's but changed to get better traction. My Michelin were very poor in mud and snow and they were getting worn pretty good. On the highway I would have stayed with Michelin's.
