Any Mauser experts on here?

I have a model 1893 Spanish Mauser in 7x57. It's a great gun. If you can get some pics up we should be able to tell a little more.

I have one that may be like yours ... Here is some History .. After WWII the Czechoslovakians gave Israel a bunch of Czech M98 Mausers (Slightly different than German M98) and the Israel's put 308 Win/7.62 Barrels on them .. Mine was sporterized with scope and I call it "Lights Out" because when I get something in the scope .. It's done.
I put a synthetic stock on mine with a scope upgrade .. 1/2" groups at 100 yards..

If in doubt .. Get the bore slugged by a Gunsmith that knows how to work with Mausers..
