    Ethanol is evil

I really really really hate the stuff.
2 implements gone in one week. Both string trimmer and leaf blower have had the fuel lines replaced with Tygon lines and both with new filters each year but it didn't save the carbs.
New carbs are $60 each with shipping and I can by a whole the leaf blower or trimmer for $80 each with my military veteran discount.
I don't know whose conspiracy this ethanol thing was but Trump needs to do something bout this crap otherwise I wasted my vote

Yea, I hate the stuff too, BUT... do a search for the carbs. I was getting the same thing when I went to a dealer... I had a Mantis 2 cycle tiller carb take the ethanol dump... Bought the whole carb, plug, air filter and fuel lines to the gas tank for under 20 bucks!!!

did the same thing for those little Chi-nee kid's 4-wheelers... 8 bucks for the whole dang carb!

            fuel in a can, pre-mixed.

I have been running it exclusively for the last four years in all of our chainsaws, pole saws, string trimmers, t post driver....

Everything still starts up quick, and I've had ZERO carb problems.

Tru-Fuel! I only use the premix Tru-Fuel in my small engines such as leaf blower, and weed eater. I have had zero carb issues in the past 2 years since I started using it. Yes it's not cheap, but I may use 1 gallon all summer long (19.99 per gallon).

I've been down the same road and that's why I only use the Pre-Mixed stuff In Home Depot or other hardware stores ..

From one Vet to another Thanks for your service ..

I used all that stuff and even quicksilver quickcare and quickstor that I use in my boat. Pizzes me off!

Same here, I will only run tru fuel in my small engines. It's expensive but less costly then maintenance to repair or replace.

I do run ethanol in my mower but I only buy a gallon at a time, fill the mower half way and run it till empty.

But yes the math on ethanol never made any sense to me, replace petro fuel with 10% ethanol and reduce engine efficiency by 20%. Seems like a 10% net loss to me

I think $20 a gallon is a ripoff but I know it might save me $$ in the long run.
All this could be solved if they would just put in a pure gas pump somewhere near me.

Factor in down time and repair cost...... $20 gallon is a steal!
