Wife and I are doing to some work on our house and want to add an outdoor kitchen. Our back porch in 20x20. Her only stipulations is that it needs to be cute and have a bar for people to sit at. I'm having a hard time deciding between a charcoal grill and electric smoker, or just buy a big green egg. I've never cooked on a BGE but I haven't heard too many bad reviews. Space is obviously a factor too as she also wants a table and chairs for 6 to eat at. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've had one for about 15 years. For something quick and dirty I'll fire up the gas grill, but the BGE is my go to rig. Yes, they are expensive, but to me it was well worth the investment.

Same goes for pizza as well. For that you'll also need a pizza stone and some cornmeal to sprinkle on it to keep the crust from sticking.
