Recommendations? Need about 4 cameras. On site or cloud storage, doesnt really matter to me. Indoor/outdoor. We looked at the arlo system that was recommended but its wifi and we dont have the most reliable internet so would like to find a bluetooth that records to a drive and/or uploads to a cloud when internet is available. And prefer a bought system over monthly subscription. Thanks

I bought a system from www.backstree.surveillance.com. Not bluetooth, and not cheap.
I bought the Ultra-HD, with Power-over-ethernet to the cameras.
They have several systems, and they may have something you are looking for.

Thing about wireless; it's still gotta have power from some where be it batteries or wired to an A/C source some where. Most cable cams get their power from the recorder. Battery cams are OK if you don't mind changing them out. And don't run off and forget to check them before you leave for some place for a while.
I did a lot of research before buying my system. There are lots of options out there.
But what I'd recommend is getting the most pixels you can for the cams. That will help play a big difference when it comes to clarity, when trying to prosecute someone. Second is storage be it cloud or hard drive, or both cause some hard drive units you can store to cloud too. Get the most you can. The higher the resolution the cams are, the more storage they will take. Also the longer you can go before "over writing" begins.Last edited by Texas Grown; 04-23-2017, 06:40 PM.
