F-150 Back Up Camera - Help

My back up camera that appears on rear view mirror when in Reverse is out. When I put truck in R, camera shows what's behind vehicle, instead of camera showing that, a blue screen appears for 2 seconds and disappears, the sensors work as I get close to object I hear the beeping, but no picture. Was wondering if any Ford owners might have experienced this and have a solution before I go to Ford dealership and spend over $100 for them to just look at it.

As luck would have it warranty expired 7800 miles ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

First thing I would do is check the quick disconnect and wires at the tailgate if you haven't already.

Following - I have a 2013 and mine does the same thing - but only about 1/2 the time.

You have my attention, I have a 09 that still works but, I know it's only a matter of time.

Probably the harness. Should be just under or right behind the bottom of the tailgate. May have to take a zip tie and tighten the harness together with it to keep it tight. It worked on my '10.

Mine does the same thing (2010 model with 110k miles). I've tried readjusting the front harness and rear harness under the bumper and nothing works

Check the wire harness, you might have to take the service hole cover off the tailgate to check the correction at the camera and check the correction behind the bumper.
