I literally just turned it down on Saturday. Seemed like a text book pyramid scheme to me.

Have actually seen relationships severed over it. The people who are devoted to it ARE REALLY DEVOTED and they can become insufferable because they have nothing else to talk about. You can only say "No" so many times before you just quit a friendship.

I've got a guy asking about it all the time in the Austin area. I've wondered if joining is worth it from a business standpoint or a even the retail discounts. It does seem like a standard pyramid scheme. I would like to see the other responses.

a long time friend of mine is WAY deep in it...He says he has saved a place for me in his "org chart" for me right by him so I would automatically have a bunch of people under me when I joined. Finally had to tell him I didn't have the money to buy into it and he could pass along the great spot to someone else. I may have passed on the best thing ever but it just sounded like a bunch of "Pyramid Get Rich Quick Kind of Stuff" to me...

If anyone here is a part of it, I mean no disrespect and hope you are wealthy beyond your wildest dreams. It just was not for me is what I am saying...

I don't think it is a scam - they have been around for 20 years. Similar to Amway or many other MLM outfits, the quality products and savings are real. However the ability to make those big bucks you see in their videos and at their rallies is 100% predicated on your ability to recruit others onto your "team" or your "downline" or whatever term they use. If you are up to that task, have at it. The truth is, the overwhelming majority of folks who jump into this business model fizzle without making squat. There are some that get rich for sure but it is all about selling the dream and getting people excited.

Pretty much spot on. They are what they are.

MLM programs are all the same in that they're based on recruiting as many people as possible into their network in the hopes that said recruits sell to as many of their friends and family as possible. It's a numbers game with promises of "the dream". It's a fundamentally sound system that can work for the right type individual with a good product.

Btw....I ain't that type of individual.

You can just go to the Ebates web site and order from there and they will also send you money back. I just could not justify spending the money to join TN.

I turned it down and have found better deals on Amazon or eBay without spending 2K to "save".

The scam is the line most MLM sell you on while all the top dogs make the money. Just because it has been in business for a long time doesn't mean it's not scammy. Amway is a great example. They sell you on the "business" and you have to end up buying products if you can't get enough sold so the folks above you make their money. Not to mention they try to come in with un-marked how to videos and books and then drop the we are Amway on you, .... then they make you go to all these huge conventions on your own dime so you'll buy more videos and how to pamphlets and info so the big folks and make even more money. It's a preying on the low end of the pyramid scam... plain and simple. Now I'm not sure how this compares to Team National but most MLMs prey on the lower level.
