    Sam Rayburn Lodging???

Any suggestions for the NW side of the lake? Headed there the 19-20 of May and need somewhere to stay. Weight in is at Shirley Creek marina. I looked at cabins there and they want $200 a night!

I'm in poor folks slab snatching not ditch pickle big money fishing so looking to keep it much more reasonable than that! Heck first place wouldn't cover the gas, entry fee, and lodging at that rate! I just need a dry place to sleep, a hot shower, and room to park the boat and plug it in! Anywhere I stay I can promise I've stayed in worse in 20 years on the road but I am getting a little more picky in my old age!

Never been down there but pretty fired up about it! Sounds like it's plumb full of fat black crappie! Those are my favorites!!

We've always stayed at Jackson Hill. Around $80 a night or so. Good food there too

Join Jackson Hill Park and Marina for an exciting journey and create unforgettable memories!!

Thanks y'all!! Prolly call em next week and see what they have. Food where I stay is good stuff! I hate messing with unhooking the boat and driving somewhere. Plus it interferes with the beer drinking.

Jackson Hill had a tornado hit there a few weeks ago and I am not sure of the damage/repair.

This place is coming right into Broaddus (approx 20 miles via highway to Shirley creek). I can't speak for or against this place. Also about 7 miles from Jackson Hill.

The people that have it now have been doing allot of work on it from a driving by eye appeal opinion.
