    What kind of bone is this?

    Buddy found it on their property up around Fairfield.

            My guess is that it's a coccyx (tailbone) of some kind of critter. I'd have to see it, feel it to hazard a better guess. It doesn't appear to have a downward curve, so probably not off of a mammal, but again, only EWAGing for now.

                    It would be the sacrum. The coccyx is a small group of bone off the back making up the beginning of the tail.
