Shows a very interesting and not much talked about period of time in South Texas. Amazing how many folks don't realize there was pretty much outright war going on in this state during the early 20th century.

This show is filmed on my mothers boyfriends grandfathers old place. the house was built in 1892. Its off of hwy 71 east of 281. Her boyfriend owns the place nextdoor, and they use his place for trailers, livestock and eating. They go to a lot of the filming. Mom is the short one

Doesnt follow story of book, charters act completly different, cut out huge details that fill in things you need to know.

Was an incredibly shallow interpritation of a book that is REALLY good, rich with history and historical honesty...

Listen to the audio book if you want a good story. The show was very dissapointing... i really really wanted it to be great... it isnt...
