Anyone hunt Godwin zone of hagerman?

Checking to see if anyone has hunted that unit and what the area is like. thanks

I've hunted it both years it was open in 2004 and 2005. It's out of the unit rotation right now and will not be back in rotation until 2009. Next year will be Big Mineral, Harris Creek and Myers Branch.

I know there are no deer at hagerman but if there were, how would this area compare to the other zones and are there turkey around texoma. thanks

The Godwin is a good unit to hunt. Just don't hunt anywhere near Roger or his brother. Now compared to the rest of the units its right up there with the Harris and Sandy Unit. The Big Mineral rules Hagerman.
