At scope mounts which one?

Just got my Grendel and thru on a scope with medium rings, gotta go higher, what's best, high rings or some type one piece mount?

I've always had Nikon p223 or m223 mounts

But my current ar has the vortex one piece mounts

I just bought the leupold mark 4 single piece mount from midwayusa. $139.00 I have the scope in it, but I haven't gotten my upper it to shoot it yet.
